Each search conducted by Garret Associates is customized to the client’s specific needs. By developing a “partnership” approach with our clients, we are involved with the entire process. Through a detailed, preliminary information gathering process, we work with the management team not only to craft a profile of the “ideal” candidate; but to fully gain knowledge and understanding of the company’s mission, model, programs, and culture.

In order to attract the best possible talent, our team of associates will be provided with all information necessary to make the best presentation to qualified candidates about the benefits and rewards of working for your company. Once target prospects are defined, marketing materials are created, and the search process begins. When a viable candidate is identified, we present the opportunity, your company’s model, culture, benefits, and the value proposition of joining your organization.

All candidates will be thoroughly screened and pre-qualified. Qualified candidates will be sent more detailed information about the company. A detailed profile of our first interview is presented to the client, and an initial exploratory call scheduled. Our goal is to present only the most qualified candidates for interviews with hiring managers.  We will manage the scheduling of interviews, and work with you through every step in the process, up to the hiring and post-hiring follow-up.

Our History and Partners :

Garret Associates, LLC started as a “boutique” search firm in 1999. We began with two industry specialties – High Technology and the Mortgage Industry.  In 2002, we narrowed our focus to working exclusively with mortgage lenders.  It is with this focus we have developed our expertise and a full understanding of the dynamics involved in recruiting for the mortgage industry.

Prior to starting the firm, Managing Partner, Beth Lieberman spent three years recruiting for an executive search firm, recruiting and placing candidates for the real estate development, mortgage, finance, and high technology industries. Along with managing our operations and team of associate recruiters, Beth is very involved in recruiting production, operations professionals, executives, and full branches for client companies. In addition, she has been consulting and assisting clients with recruiting strategy and marketing projects.  Beth holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, with a focus in recruitment and selection.

Matthew Fine, Partner and Director of Branch Recruiting offers nine years of professional recruiting experience to the firm and our clients. For the past four years, Matt has been recruiting exclusively for the mortgage industry. In addition to locating top caliber loan officers, his major focus has been recruiting fully operating and new Net Branches, Affiliate and Company Branches, ABA’s, and JV’s for direct lenders in the western United States. Matthew spends most of his time working with Production Executives assisting with their Branch recruiting functions, process, and business development efforts.
